SAE Institute Dubai Now Open

SAE Institute will be opening the doors this fall to the first of its Middle Eastern campuses within the Dubai Knowledge Village, a new education and training hub that includes the campus for Dubai Knowledge Universities. The first phase of the University will be completed in 2006. SAE Dubai's first classes begin on October 16, 2005; SAE Dubai is now taking enrollments for students of audio engineering, digital animation and filmmaking.

What is SAE all about?
The School of Audio Engineering (SAE) was founded in 1976 in Sydney by Tom Misner to train the future professionals of the multimedia industry. Our aim initially was to train people in the field of audio engineering but we gradually expanded into multimedia in the 90s and then filmmaking and 3D. Today, we have branches in 47 cities in 30 countries around the world. Dubai is the latest to be added to this list.

SAE Opens Institute in Dubai

Dubai, UAE (October 26, 2005)--SAE Institute opened a school in Dubai this month, underlining the importance and potential of the audio visual and music industry in the region, particularly in Dubai. SAE will operate at Knowledge Village for the next two years and then move to Dubai Studio City, Dubai's new film, broadcast and music production cluster, when its infrastructure is ready. The facility in Dubai will initially specialize in three areas--3D graphics and animation, filmmaking and audio engineering.
