This course offers students a thorough education of all aspects of audio engineering and is designed to train the future professionals of the audio industry. This major focuses on a combination of traditional and modern production and directing techniques, video post-production, digital film technology and computer-aided production. It combines traditional camera and lighting techniques with digital editing and compositing, utilising industry-standard software. This program is designed to meet the growing demand for professionals who have a thorough understanding of the multimedia and internet production process. Students will be taught industry-standard software and the fundamental skills associated with production of graphic design projects and basic internet applications. This includes page layout and design skills, authoring application programs, interactive media design, web site creation techniques, conceptualisation and development of multimedia projects, implementation of design and development of the final product.
The module provides students with an overview of 3D animation modelling and the design process. It looks at the increase in 3D visualisations in both the design and marketing of building projects.
It covers the basic principles of design that architects and interior decorators follow, in order to achieve the best possible results when creating a 3D environment.
